12月10日中午,管院在M栋4楼广场举办了EMI圣诞感恩派对(EMI Christmas Lunch Event)。这场活动为全体师生带来了一场充满温馨与文化交流的节日体验,现场准备了象征祝福的寿桃、简单美味的餐点,并播放圣诞佳音,让大家在轻松愉快的氛围中感受节日的美好。
活动开场由陈明惠院长致词。她感谢全体师生的参与,强调这场活动不仅是节日庆祝,也是促进文化理解与双语交流的重要契机。陈院长特别提到:「希望透过这样的活动,让师生们在节日的欢乐中,体会到感恩与分享的意义。」
活动中,老师们与国际生分享寿桃的文化意涵,吸引了众多目光。老师解释道:「寿桃在中华文化中象征长寿与祝福,常在重要节日或庆典中出现,代表对彼此最真挚的祝愿。」国际生们对这项文化传统展现出浓厚兴趣,纷纷拍照留念,并表示品尝寿桃是一种特别的文化体验。

On December 10th, the College of Management hosted the EMI Christmas Lunch Event at the M Building 4th Floor Plaza, offering faculty and students a heartwarming holiday experience filled with cultural exchange. The event featured symbolic longevity buns, delicious refreshments, and Christmas carols, creating a festive and relaxed atmosphere.
Dean Ming-Hui Chen opened the event with a speech, expressing gratitude to all participants and highlighting the importance of bilingual interaction and cultural understanding. Faculty members explained the cultural significance of longevity buns to international students, symbolizing blessings and long life, sparking great interest and excitement.
With the melodies of Christmas carols and opportunities for bilingual conversations, the event fostered connections and understanding, leaving participants with fond memories and holiday cheer as the semester concluded.
