Makerspace Usage Regulations (Summary)
Purpose:
To encourage students to integrate interdisciplinary knowledge with hands-on practice, foster independent thinking, problem-solving, and innovation, and to build a campus environment that supports creativity and entrepreneurship.
Managing Unit:
Department of Accounting and Information Systems.
Location:
HB88, Basement Level 1, Health Building.
Opening Hours:
Monday–Friday, 09:00–21:00 (outside class hours).
Group reservations are required on weekends.
Reservation Process:
Applicants must apply by email (ai@asia.edu.tw) or by phone (04-23323456 ext. 5401). After approval, users may borrow the space with valid identification from the Department of Accounting and Information Systems.
User Regulations:

The makerspace is for College of Management faculty and students only.

Users must not damage equipment or facilities. Any malfunction must be reported immediately; users are responsible for compensation if damage occurs.

Eating and drinking are strictly prohibited. Users must keep the space clean, return furniture and equipment to their original positions, turn off power and close doors/windows, and remove all trash after use.
Implementation:
These regulations take effect upon approval by the College Affairs Meeting and the Dean; amendments follow the same procedure.
