“Confucius and Herding Behavior in the Stock Markets in China and Taiwan” was selected as best paper of 2019 from the Web of Science. In the frame of its grand strategy to become a research university, the National University of Mongolia (NUM) has been organizing annually an event in cooperation with the Web of Science to select the best research papers published in SSCI, SCI, and AHCI indexed journals.

During the best paper selection ceremony held in November 2019, Ms. Linda Guo, who is Vice President and Head of Web of Science Group participated in the ceremony. One of the best research papers of this year was a study “Confucius and Herding Behavior in the Stock Markets in China and Taiwan”, which is jointly written by Munkh-Ulzii Batmunkh (current faculty at NUM and graduated from Asia University Department of Business Administration), and three professors from Asia University (AU) Michael McAleer, Massoud Moslehpour, and Wing-Keung Wong.
