Asia University College of Management Holds Consensus Workshop to Strengthen Team Cohesion and Shape the Future

On the afternoon of July 29, the College of Management at Asia University held its Consensus Workshop in the newly opened M517 professional classroom of the Department of Finance and Law. The event brought together all faculty and staff to share and build team consensus around the themes of “Deepening Positioning, Enhancing Features, Linking the Future, and Practicing Excellence,” establishing clear goals and KPIs for the new academic year as a foundation for continuous improvement.

The workshop, hosted by Dean Ming-Hui Chen, began with the presentation of appointment letters for AACSB and EMI Executive Directors as well as teaching community leaders, strengthening team alignment and strategic focus. Department chairs then reported on the achievements of the 113th academic year and outlined plans for the upcoming year, aligned with the workshop’s core themes and KPIs.

Notably, the event was held in the newly completed M517 classroom, a modern tiered space equipped with advanced multimedia teaching tools, professional audio systems, and capabilities for recording, live streaming, video conferencing, and remote learning—reflecting the college’s commitment to enhancing its teaching environment and advancing professionalism and innovation.
In closing, Dean Chen emphasized that the workshop served not only as a vital platform for idea exchange but also demonstrated the team’s shared vision and determination to move forward together. She expressed hopes for ongoing progress in internationalization, digital transformation, and social engagement to meet future challenges.

The workshop concluded successfully, showcasing the College of Management’s strong unity and shared vision, and marking a new chapter in its pursuit of continuous development and excellence.
