The 3rd International Conference on AI, Emerging Technologies, and English-Medium Instruction (EMI) in Business and Management—ICAEEMI 2025—marked a milestone in the event’s growth. Held on April 15, 2025, and hosted by Asia University’s College of Management, the conference celebrated expanded participation, dynamic scholarly exchange, and global collaboration.
This conference was organized by the Bilingual Education Promotion Office of the College of Management, with a focus on the integration and innovation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and English-Medium Instruction (EMI) in business and education.
The event was opened by Dean Ming-Hui Chen of the College of Management, who remarked, “The intersection of AI and EMI has become a crucial issue in modern education. It not only enhances language learning and strengthens instructional interaction, but also brings profound changes to human-machine relationships, learning models, and the global workplace.”
Dean Chen further noted that the number of paper submissions this year has doubled compared to last year, reflecting the academic community’s growing interest and attention to this evolving topic. She also expressed sincere gratitude to Professor Massoud M.M., the conference organizer, and the entire planning team for their dedication. In closing, she encouraged all participants to engage with open minds and genuine dialogue in order to further the integration of education and technology.
The opening also welcomed distinguished guests, including the Vice President of Academic Affairs at NBSC (Philippines) and the President of Esa Unggul University (Indonesia), highlighting the conference’s emphasis on international academic cooperation.
This year’s central theme focused on the integration of AI—such as ChatGPT and Bard—into EMI environments, particularly in business and management contexts. The conference explored how AI can enhance language learning, improve translation of cultural terms, and support folklore education. It also addressed practical challenges, ethical concerns, and future directions for applying AI in teaching.
The main objectives included:
  • Exploring AI-enhanced EMI instruction
  • Sharing real-world applications of AI in education
  • Addressing challenges and proposing innovative solutions
  • Encouraging cross-disciplinary dialogue among educators, researchers, and technologists
Topics ranged from AI-driven innovations in management practices and digital transformation in business to cybersecurity, sustainability, and cross-cultural communication in EMI settings.
Throughout the day, attendees engaged with a rich program of research presentations and discussions. A major highlight was the lineup of eight keynote speakers from India, Taiwan, Indonesia, and the Philippines, who offered insights into AI ethics, technology-driven pedagogy, and data-informed decision-making.
The event concluded with closing remarks by Dr. Mosiur, who emphasized the strong sense of community, the high quality of submissions, and the conference’s academic impact. Notably, selected papers will be published in a Scopus-indexed volume—an important achievement for the participants.
Looking forward, ICAEEMI organizers aim to expand the conference’s reach and influence, continuing to bridge AI, education, and global engagement.
