Asia Management College (AMC) was accredited by AACSB International in 2017/2, and they are meeting the second round of accreditation. It began with Pre-visit which was the first vital meeting for the accreditation. Dr Ross James is assigned to be the peer review team chair by AACSB International and he virtually visited AMC on 6/3-4. Before the pre-visit, Dean Lin, Chun-Wei, Executive Officer Huang, Mei-Hua and Lin, Pei-Kuan had been contacting him for a while to seek his advice for the Continuous Improvement Review (CIR) report. In this pre-visit meeting, they finally and gladly met and greeted in person. AACSB team of AMC also took this opportunity to request more suggestions from Dr James regarding the CIR report. Besides the report, Dr James regarded our students' life and academic achievement. Hence, the AACSB team set up a meeting for students, alumni and industry board members to meet and chat with Dr James. They were very nervous at the beginning, but Dr James was very kind and patiently asked them to convey their ideas. It is a special experience to me and I know AMC is really listening to us, Ms Hsu (PhD student) said. After pre-visit, AMC is meeting the final formal visit in November, and the AACSB team sees it as a big challenge as well as an opportunity to make a better college for faculty, students, and alumni. We wish them luck.
