Director Lin from IAC led CM faculty including Dean Chen, Chairman Chen, Chairlady Chen, Assistant Professor Lin and Chou to visit IDEC on Jan 18^th.  IDEC is the only qualified Cloud ERP technology company cooperating with Chunghwa Telecom.

Executive Wang from IDEC is a MBA alumnus of AU. He mentioned that IDEC employed more than 1,000 employees in different industries, including cloud, energy conservation and sports industries.  In 1975, IDEC started its operation in Taichung, and in 2000, developed cloud ERP in web framework. IDEC continued its development, and became the only one qualified cloud ERP technology company that Chunghwa Telecom cooperated with and provided consultant and customer service. This Tech has been tested through black-box testing, white-box testing, gray-box testing and other software examinations by Chunghwa Telecom Laboratories and it was awarded Cloud Open Lab Security Testing by Institute for Information Industry in 2014.

During the visit, Executive Wang expressed his interest in signing Industry-Academic Collaboration project with AU regarding software donation, industrial practitioners co-teaching, license examination promotion and internship program. Moreover, he also indicated that the internship program would be mission-driven program for various levels of students to conquer and challenge.

Dean Chen from the CM noted that there were 3 significant future execution points: teaching, certification and enterprise internship. To enhance the spirit, IDEC and AU would operate a teaching system donation signing ceremony and this cooperation would create 3 wins to not only the company, but also the school and students.
