Curated by Dr. Chang, Department of Leisure and Recreation Management, Asia University, "Tin Mine Years- Hakka Malaysia Tin Mine Exhibition" was launched on September 15th at the Hakka Culture Museum (Tongluo Science Park). This is the first international exchange exhibition of the Hakka Cultural Development Center and it will last for 1 year.

About a hundred years ago, Malaysia was a key migration fortress for the Hakka ethnic group. Through the industry-academia cooperation, the exhibition was held at the Hakka Culture Museum in Taiwan. The Hakka Cultural Development Center also signed a Tripartite Cooperation Letter of Intent with Research Center for Southeast Asia, National Kaohsiung Normal University, Taiwan and University Tunku Abdul Rahman, Malaysia.

Dr. Chang pointed out that the planning work for this special exhibition was less than six months. Actually, we only had three weeks and it was very hard to implement from inside to outside of the hall for such a limited time. The entire curatorial team is fully committed to achieve such results. There are some students from Department of Business Administration and Leisure and Recreation Management participated in the curation. Two of the students were even sent to Malaysia for data collection. This experience to them were precious, Dr. Chang said.
