The new president of University of Finance and Economics (UFE), D. Munkhbayar visited Asia University (AU) on October 23. Hosted by President Tsai, AU, he introduced the features and advantages of AU and also discussed the way of deeper collaobration between UFE and AU.

UFE is the partner university of AU and it is the best-ranked and oldest university in Mongolia. It has a well-built relationship with AU and in order to create more duel-degree opportunity, Dean Chen, Ming-Huei, College of Management, AU led a group of faculty and had a in-depth discussion with UFE president.

President Tsai mentioned that AU is an 18-year-old international university with full of vitality. Although it is very young, it ranks amoung the top universities domesticly and internationally in 2018 Times Higher Education Ranking. At AU, we attach great improtance to research. In response to the advent of the industry 4.0 era, we have established 12 university-level research centers, including Artificial Intellingence, Big Data, 3D Printing, Financial Technology Blockchain and Precision Medicine.

UFE President D. Munkhbayar said that AU had a beautiful campus enviornment, excellent group of teachers, well-planned curriculum and comprehensive student care. UFE selects 40-45 students each year to send to study Dual-Degree Program at AU and he also expressed his grateful on the assistance of students' talent development at AU.

President D. Munkhbayar futher stated that UFE would like to include three dimensions of collaborations: 1) Selecting and sending executives to AU for short-term traning; 2) Selecting outstanding schalors to AU for Doctoral Bridging Program; 3) Discussing the exchange and cooperation of Healthcare Administration Management related courses and degrees with the Medical College to cultivate health industry management talents for Mongolia.

Associate Dean Ou Jenho-Peter, College of Management teaches the UFE students how to learn and innovate, and he arranges some financial and cultural courses and company visits for the students. President D. Munkhbayar also thanks tp two faculty, Dr. Tzang, Shih-Weir and Dr. Chang, Chun-Pin, Department of Finance for their comprehensive care and counseling. Not only they coached the students to the third country to take a third degree, but also the Department of Finance coached them to get the license of International Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). Now, the 20 seniors have passed the CFA license and found a high-paying job in Mongolia.
