Professor Matousek visited AU campus!--

On September 14, 2017, Associate Dean Ou and AACSB executive Dr. Moslehpour received Professor Roman Matousek at Taichung HSR.

Professor Roman Matousek is Professor of Banking and Finance and Deputy Director of Business School, University of Kent responsible for international collaboration and partnership.

He is also a member of the prestigious Chartered Association of Business Schools (ABS) International Committee.

As Deputy School Director for Internationalisation, Roman has been closely collaborating with the leading Universities in China, Europe, and North America.

Based on his extensive academic activities in China and ASEAN region, Roman is an expert on higher education in China and other South-East Asian countries.

During the meeting, several aspects of collaboration between the two schools were discussed. Professor Matousek mentioned that the reason for University of Kent  to approach Asia University is AACSB Accreditation.

According to the preliminary agreement, Asia University undergraduate students will be able to study in University of Kent as exchange students or work towards the double degree.

Collaboration for Master's degree and PhD students double degree program were also discussed.  These agreements will be signed in form of MOA before December 2017 and will become effective for 2018-2019 school year.
