PX Mart Co., Ltd., operating as Pxmart, is the largest supermarket chain in Taiwan. Now, Pxmart provide a MA program for AU.  This program will accelerate student’s career development and place students in leadership positions early on in their career. AU and Pxmart signed a contract on October 1st.
    After officially interview, this program finally recruits 38 AU students from eight different department to participate. This program is 9-weeks courses that creates a broad understanding of the service business. The courses includes customer behavior analysis, creative thinking, store design and leadership.        
    Professor Yi-Hsin Lin, Department Chair of leisure and recreation management, indicated that school cooperating with industry is very important because it can ensure students to have internship opportunities, even find a full-time job after graduation. Pxmart representatives also pointed out that Pxmart has many opportunities to cooperate with Asia University in the future.
    Pxmart also offers scholarship for this program. As long as you are interested in it, you can get scholarship and attend to the class, it’s totally free. In addition, the outstanding students can be a manager in the future after training.
