On January 15, Dean Chen Ming-Hui of the College of Management, along with several faculty members participated in a one-week English-Medium Instruction (EMI) workshop organized by the Language Development Center. The participants included Professor Chen Chao-Jian from the Department of Leisure and Recreation Management, Professor Zang Shi-Wei from the Department of Finance, Associate Professor Zhan Ya-Lan from the Department of Department of Business Administration, Associate Professor Tang Da-Wei from the Leisure and Recreation Management, Assistant Professor Jian Xin-Nan from the Department of Financial and Economic Law, Assistant Professor Huang Zhi-Jian from the Financial and Economic Law, and Kristianus Oktriono, a doctoral student from the Department of Business Administration.
The purpose of this EMI workshop was to train and assist faculty members in incorporating English instruction into their courses, thereby enhancing their proficiency in teaching in English. This initiative reflects the commitment to improving English teaching skills and the overall quality of EMI courses.
