The College of Management at Asia University held the EMI Faculty Meeting for the 113-2 Semester on February 25, 2025, in Meeting Room M405. The meeting was chaired by Dean Ming-Hui Chen and attended by EMI faculty members from the Departments of Business Administration, Finance, Accounting and Information Systems, and Financial and Economic Law.

The primary focus of the meeting was to discuss improvements in EMI teaching methods based on feedback from the previous semester's student satisfaction survey and classroom observation records. These suggestions were proposed during the Bilingual Curriculum Review Committee meeting. Additionally, the meeting included discussions on recommendations and revisions for the EMI course satisfaction survey. Faculty members provided specific feedback, particularly on questionnaire design, aiming for more precise reflections of students' responses regarding academic English proficiency, teaching methods, and learning outcomes. These insights will serve as a foundation for future EMI course adjustments, with the goal of further enhancing student learning outcomes and overall course quality.

Dean Chen emphasized the importance of improving EMI teaching quality and proposed the establishment of interdepartmental EMI teaching communities to facilitate experience sharing and resource integration. Three new EMI teaching communities were formed during the meeting, with designated members from each department. The coordinators from each department will be responsible for organizing regular discussions and exchanges. This initiative aims to foster faculty growth through collaboration and further promote the development of EMI teaching at the College of Management.
